Catharsis Vs Vernos: Mount Gyaru's Base

Vernos stood tall and proud. The dueling station was something people from all over partook in to help boost their skills and also accel past all others. He wanted to have a closer connection with Bonju and felt that battling will help their spirits intertwine in a way. He began stretching taking deep breathes as he awaited his opponent at the base of mount gyaru. Well aware it was all just a simulation its affects and scenery could fool anyone. 

"Here we are. Wonder who I will be going up against today," Vernos looked around as he adjusted his eyes to the summit of the mountain and saw the thundering clouds circle it, "Wow some sight," He said. Vernos didn't really like battling but with the way the world is today he understood why it was good to battle sometimes. Mainly for defense, however, dueling someone will help him explore his fighting style more. Help him search for an outfit that fits him perfectly. Not to small, not to big, not to tight, not too loose. Something just right.

ARE YOU PLANNING ON USING OUR NEW ARSENAL TODAY? Bonju would say awaking from his eternal nap.
"Of course I am. What better way train them than going up against someone and seeing how affective they actually are?"
YOU HAVE A POINT MY BOY. VERY WELL THEN. TELL ME WHEN THE BATTLE HAS BEGUN. Bonju would then eternally snore as Vernos' anxiousness almost got the best of him.

Vernos prattled on and on, tossing speculation at Cath... But the Altimone knew this man to be an honest one, and he seemed to be the type to figure out his claims before tossing them at others... Could he truly be alive? And if so, were he immortal? Another world at the edge of this one? All this was very curious to Catharsis. If what Vernos said was true, then opportunity had arisen; there would be much personal gain for the greedy Cath awaiting-- perhaps even the secret to immortality.

But this sounded like suicide, but perhaps it was worth the risk? He devoted his thoughts to it, realizing he'd been running out of time and opportunity elsewhere, and having company could keep him safe from the rising violence abound. Asides, a new world to explore, sabotage, thief, and con in would be a great fresh start.

"Hmmm," the Healer mused to himself, deep in though, pallid eyes revealing nothing of his inner workings. He merely listened and took it all in. "You do seem set to go either way... What you say, true or not, could be suicidal.. And it is in my code not to willingly allow others to come to harm, so while I cannot stop you, I can come along to ensure you keep safe."

He spewed bullshit like it was second nature, he was the gilded tongue liar of liars, after all. The words came off perfect and sincere; he could have just said 'yes', but if Catharsis were to be traveling, he needed to keep up his guise. I suppose I'll see where this goes. A soft smile, and an extended hand, "So I suppose I'll be there when you need me to heal your wounds in this suicide mission of yours.. Well, of -ours- now."

Vernos was overly excited to hear Catharsis's answer. He finally had three people joining him on his adventure to find David Padilla. Whether they had their own motives an intentions or not was completely fine by him; he was just happen to finally start doing things for himself. He firmly shook the hand of the Altamone generating all of his excitement to Catharsis.

“Thank you so much for being a part of this journey. I can assure you it will surely be one to remember,” Vernos flashed Catharsis a smile as it would appear Bonju woke up.

I have to be polite, but I could tone it down a bit. I mean come on! We are finally getting closer to our goal. David Padilla will soon be found,  Vernos handed Catharsis a piece of paper with directions scribbled on it.

“This is how to get to my place in Limrei Town. I will hopefully expect to see you there shortly.” He handed the paper to Catharsis as he began walking away. “See you again,” He said waiving as the simulation was complete.

Vernos showed immediate and great appreciation for the answer given-- not unpredictable, but still somewhat excessive. It made Catharsis curious how many times the man before him had been turned down on this same offer; not to mention the chances of survival.

Being from the Badlands, Cath was no stranger to survival; he was far tougher than his lithe frame suggested. Asides: even were his new companions to fall, there were few situations he couldn't run from, sneak away or talk out of, so all seemed rather nonthreatening.

Cath kept his silence until handed the directions to meet up in Limrei. Back to the town already? Damn.. Been quite a while since I did more than just pass through a place and move on. Taking the paper, "I'll see you there, Friend." And just like that the two waved and departed the simulation, allowing the program to finally end.
