Descriptive Information
Eye Color: Her irises are black, with yellow pupils like all Xatiaz.
Hair Color: Aiko was once very easy to pick out of a crowd with bouncy, bright gold curls. Over time, her hair has faded in color and the lovely cherubic ringlets have turned into waves.
Skin Color: She's incredibly pale under the traditional black markings of her race.

Overall Physical Description: Aiko is small in size, making her difficult to notice - she likes it this way. She has very full, pink lips and white teeth. Her eyebrows are dark, broad and straight, making her look as though she's always angry. She has a pointed chin to complete a heart-shaped face framed by long hair. Her body markings are small, running from the nape of her neck and down her back. They are very heavily noticeable on her forearms and hands, as well as her calves and feet. She does not have any on her face, upper arms, stomach, breasts, or thighs.
She wears plain clothing, and tries to stay outside of most city limits. The Xatiaz race is very small, and she would rather not answer strangers' questions about her eyes and markings.

Aiko comes across very... innocent.
She's a level-headed young woman, as no one knows enough about her to push buttons.
Weaknesses/Fears:
Aiko has an incredibly difficult time making friends and trusting others.

Overall Mental/Emotional Description: Aiko is a sad soul. Her only goal is to survive, at any cost, making her manipulative and a hard individual to like. She's very suspicious of others and their motives. Underneath the indifferent facade is a young woman who enjoys conversation and companionship, although she does her best to hide it.

She's a very quiet, analytical sort of person, usually only speaking when spoken to. If you're lucky, she might occasionally volunteer information or ask questions. She is very intelligent, but lacks a lot of worldly know-how and cultural information due to her sheltered upbringing.

If you can get past her layers of vague dislike, shyness and anxiety, she turns into a snarky, sarcastic friend who does her best to make those around her laugh.

Back Story Overview

Home City: Not really a "home city." Aiko was born on a boat out on the Laikaido.
Current Residence: Southern Odrea, two miles off the border of Jun City.

Back Story History: According to her foster family, her mother left her on the port when she was a year old. The name "Aiko" was sewn into her britches, and she was therefore named accordingly.
She grew up a very solitary girl, not getting along with her foster siblings and having a particular distaste for her father. A drunken man who understood little about boundaries as she got older, Aiko quickly learned to take care of herself.

At 15 she left home, unwilling to put up with more of her foster father's advances. During that time, she became better with her abilities and learned to survive on her own.

Five years later, and Aiko is still wandering around, avoiding people and not staying in the same place for long. She doesn't necessarily have a "mission" in life other than to stay out of harm's way.
