| Devi sat by himself in a dark corner of Fumaha Pub and for once his hair wasn’t covering his magnificent face revealing a stern expression. The fact that he was flipping a strange coin and seemingly muttering to himself didn’t make him any more approachable. He could be seen sipping on an empty mug of beer. He pondered whether or not to get another, but since his first interaction with someone other than Spinny in over four years hadn’t gone as smoothly as one may have hoped and since the current bartender seemed to be a Regg he decided against it. Devi had been travelling for over two weeks without good rest and didn’t want cause any trouble just yet.
The Pub wasn’t too crowded, but that didn’t prevent any drunken brawls or loud and annoying singing from occurring. If Devi wasn’t so tired he definitively would have joined in one of the brawls by now. He would enjoy the sight of a little Regg blood. For the past four years he had had to make due with just imagining it. Unfortunately for Devi none of the brawls so far had included any Reggs, but the night was still young.

| Fumaha Pub, a place ripe with all sorts of folks. The perpetual racket of the many noises associated with those who had downed one drink too many leaked from the pores of the building, making the pub clearly audible to much of the surrounding area. Into the waves of sound, a figure strode down the trodden road, dirt, dust, and grime from travel coating his lightly tanned skin in a thin film. A travel worn red scarf blew out behind him, fluttering in the wind as if the elements were working in conjunction in order to generate the optimal dramatic effect. Soft steps in the gravelly path grew closer to the looming wooden doors of the pub, styled after a building of the same purpose from an older era. The door to the pub flew open, cracking loudly into the wall as the reverberations mingled with the pre-existing chaos of the room. In the dying evening’s light, a long shadow was cast into the main room, as a single figure stood silhouetted in the doorway.
First one, and then a second black boot thumped onto the beaten floorboards, two feet advancing into the room in a manner neither fully walking nor skipping, they lights embedded in the hardware casting a faint red glow about the individual’s feet. As the door slowly drifted back shut behind him, the figure advanced deeper in the room, their features for the first time revealed by the flickering lights of the pub. In the dim electric glow, the figure’s blue eyes seemed to glow with vibrance, as the scanned the room with a piercing gaze from within an unkempt mess of curly gray hair. A blue drawstring bag was thrown across his bandaged back in a haphazard fashion, and what appeared to be a military baton was tucked into the belt of his cargo pants. While in other settings such an entrance may have drawn quite a bit of attention, in the bustle of the pub few of the regulars even looked up from their present activities.
The first interaction between the newcomer and a previous resident arose when out of one of the fights, a particularly drunken man stumbled, and taking a confused swing at the nearest target, found himself striking only air as gloved hands grasped the punching arm, using the man’s momentum to toss him off into the pub’s depths, where he collided into the wall with a crash, right besides where Devi had seated himself.

| Devi was deep in thought when the when the somewhat unimposing figure made his entrance and didn’t notice the current chaos that was approaching the newcomer. Devi looked up towards the chaos subconsciously licking his lips only to accidentally bite his tongue as a person came flying towards him and crashing into the wall next to him. Additionally Devi was in the middle of flipping Spinny in the air resulting in him tumbling to the floor as he tried to catch her to due the shock of the moment.
Devi quickly recovered shooting a couple of glances around him to see if anyone witnessed his recent failings. Much to his dismay around half of the Pub's crowd had turned to look at him most likely due to the individual that had come crashing in the wall beside him. Out of all the individuals who peered in his direction one caught his eye. This individual was the one who had caused him this embarrassment and to make matters worse he seemed to be a Regg. It seemed an opportunity had presented itself for Devi to finally join the fray. If only Devi knew the consequences of his future actions he would have sat back into his seat and gone back to sipping on his empty mug of beer, but alas that was not the case.
Devi began pacing towards the bandaged figure and began thinking of what to say. This would after all be his first interaction with a Regg since he lost Clarid. But as hard as he tried he couldn’t think of anything witty to say even though he slowed his pace as he got closer and closer. Spinny’s muttering about almost dropping her didn’t help his creative thought processes either. When he finally arrived before the individual he stared down on him for a few seconds of dramatic silence until he spoke the first thing that came to mind “Who the hell are you?”

| Faced with a glowering Corleik staring down angrily upon him, Day looked up at the taller figure, unfazed and with a defiant glimmer in his eyes. Grinning wryly, Day enthusiastically offered his response, taking a step closer as he spoke, to the point where any individual would be made uncomfortable by the proximity, his head angled upwards and his eyes roughly level with the man’s chin. ”I’m glad you asked. I am Day Kragg, the mightiest individual ever to walk the Earth both in the past, the present, and the future! I fear no man, beast, or army! I am the destined king of this world, and I shall claim my place gladly upon a throne atop it! I have traveled across all the land and nothing has struck fear in my heart! I spit in the eye of all would be rulers, be they GBW or Monarch, for none can rival my potential! It’s best that you accept my dominance, for there is no one capable of facing me! In the face of I, I must ask, who do you think you are?”
Without hesitation or subtlety, Day’s voice had taken a high volume, drawing the attention of any in the room who were not already focused on Day and the Corleik. Likely in response to Day’s declarations, he noticed multiple individuals seated beginning to rise, and disgruntled mumbling spreading through the crowd, the whole pub having roughly fifteen or so occupants, excluding Day, the Corleik, and the Pub’s staff. The drunkards who had been fighting previous to Day’s entrance were beginning to move towards Day, making little effort to hide their redirected violent intentions, and it seemed a majority of the Pub’s customers were about ready to join in the fray as well. Day’s grin only grew in response. He was used to the anger of others when faced with his self-declarations of his own superiority, and a fight was nothing he sought to avoid. It was for reasons such as this that he so enjoyed frequenting locations such as pubs and taverns in the first place. His smile now almost maniacal and his eyes gleaming with enthusiasm, Day let out a raucous laugh.

| Devi immediately regretted his question as the Regg stepped forward, stared straight up at him, and began his long and agitating monologue. The speech echoed throughout the pub and resulted in Devi having a few involuntary twitches when the Regg mentioned his own superiority, his fearlessness, and especially when he mentioned dominance. Aggravated and furious beyond precedent, or at least for the evening, Devi was near exploding. The monologue seemed to have brought the attention of the entire pub. The tension of the scene had become almost tangible. A few seconds passed with silence as Devi attempted to come up with a response, but before he could formulate anything Spinny came with a taunting remark “Not a bad monologue, not bad indeed.”
Not being able to cope with the stress of the journey, being called inferior by a Regg, and Spinny’s comment burst the fragile bubble that had been containing Devi’s sanity. Devi slightly pulled back his left arm, balling his fist, preparing for a jab angled directly towards the Regg’s face. It all happened quickly, but just as he released his punch he saw the glint in the Regg’s eyes and realised he had made a mistake. That thought accompanied by Spinny commenting “uh oh” prepared Devi for an uncomfortable fight.

| As the Corleik continued his face off with Day in silence, Day too noticed the increasing tension within the Pub, which only served to fuel his enthusiasm towards what was now obviously heading towards an energy infused fight. Beyond the closest opponent, the yet unidentified Corleik, the other occupants of the bar were getting closer as well. Yet while drunkards were fun to brawl with in their own way, Day was much more in the mood for someone more… self aware. And that rage filled expression contorting the Corleik’s face? Well let’s just say it promised an experience which to Day would be as tantalizing as an exquisite piece of candy. A loud creaking of wooden boards sounded out softly from over the Corleik’s shoulder as the man previously thrown into the wall was slowly standing back up, groaning softly, visible in Day’s line of sight past the Corleik. Well this was no good. With one more, now there sixteen pieces of fodder threatening to distract Day from the fun promised by the Corleik. Speaking of the Corleik, he was just now launching a left handed punch at Day. The punch would strike air. Using [Push Off], Day had leaned forwards and propelled himself forwards diagonally to the Corleik’s right side, the punch passing behind him. Ignoring the Corleik for the time being, as if saving him as a prize for later, Day had sprinted directly at the man recovering from being thrown. Slamming a normal Demon Style palm into the man’s head, the wall boards behind the man buckled and cracked as he was knocked out for good this time, as the man slid back down the wall. One of the pub’s customers who had been close to the fallen man, an Altamone, clearly enraged by the close proximity of Day’s attack, began chanting some fashion of incantation, words in some archaic language noticeably slurred. In no mood to deal with a troublesome elemental ability, Day pivoted his body, kicking the man in the gut with a gear encased foot, knocking the air out of him and cancelling his ability before it could be case. As the man was bent over, a single downward chop was enough to drop him to the ground. Day rotated his head of the shoulder, making intense eye contact with the Corleik in the center of the pub, a near demented grin plastered across his face and his eyes almost seeming to glow with a brilliant blue fire. Two down, sixteen left. And then the prize awaited. Not that it had to be last, after all, Day didn’t much care for waiting. - Drunken Mob:
You have available at this point fourteen drunken individuals to employ in your fight. Each of these individuals are essentially level 0s, however due to their drunken state, their perception, stamina, resistance, and speed have all taken substantial debuffs, so they won’t be the most coordinated in combat, and are all essentially 1-3 hit KOs.

| Devi awaited his failed punch seeing Day easily avoid his rushing fist. While tumbling forward Devi’s eyes followed Day until he suddenly vanished from his sight with a surge in speed. Though missing his punch was unfortunate in itself he was luckily able to regain his balance quite quickly. Scanning the room Devi saw Day standing next to the redowned fellow, who had caused him such embarrassment, drooped against the wall. Shortly after Day proceeded to quickly incapacitate another of the pub’s residents.
Devi’s and Day’s eyes met. Most would have been intimidated by the fiery passion of Day’s eyes and most of the drunkards flinched when he turned his head over his shoulder, but Devi surprisingly became excited. Though overcome by feelings of hatred and rage, which had sparked the encounter, his fighter’s instincts had been activated and subconsciously he welcomed the fight. His face, which was distorted in anger after Day’s speech, now revealed hints of a smile.
After the short moment of inaction and peace Devi began rushing forwards. At the same time all of the others rushed towards Day. The result was utter chaos. Devi’s seemingly advantageous position with fourteen allies all with violent intentions towards Day had backfired. Devi narrowly avoided being swallowed by the crowd as they stampeded towards their target. The rushing army of drunkards crashed into each other and a couple of them were even incapacitated. Devi who had barely avoided being knocked down by the herd was left outside the ring of drunkards. Day was currently surrounded by twelve infuriated brawlers all preparing to attack him or his fellow man for a swing at Day. Not wanting to gain any new enemies seeing that Day was a considerable opponent, Devi gritted his teeth, swallowing his rage and excitement for the short while necessary for Day to deal with the crowd.
